Roar Men Roar was born out of loss, restoration and a burning conviction that UK Christian men were being left behind and that God had more for them than they were living.
My journey has been shaped by loss, resilience and an unwavering belief in God’s purpose for my life.
At just eight years old, I lost my father to suicide. Throughout my life, I experienced further personal challenges and significant losses, including the tragic death of my younger brother in 2018 and the loss of my then wife in 2020.
These experiences challenged my faith, identity and understanding of purpose. Yet, through some of my darkest moments, I discovered that God had not abandoned me. Instead, He was restoring, strengthening and preparing me for something greater. That is my testimony.
As a minister, father, social worker and men’s leader, I have come to recognise the silent struggles many men carry. Too often, men face challenges with grief, identity, relationships and faith without the encouragement or support they need.
Out of these experiences came Roar Men Roar, a Christian men’s platform dedicated to encouraging, equipping and empowering men to discover their identity and purpose in Christ.
Inspired by Proverbs 28:1, “the righteous are bold as a lion,” I believe every man has a voice, a story and a God-given purpose.
Roar Men Roar brings together testimonies, devotionals, biblical teaching, practical resources and honest conversations about the challenges men face. It is a platform developed by men, for men, where experiences can be shared, faith strengthened and meaningful connections established.
My story is one of loss, restoration and renewed purpose. I believe that our past does not have to define our future, and that God can use even our most difficult experiences to encourage and strengthen others.
Every man has a story. Every man has a purpose. Every man has a voice.

Proverbs 28:1 declares, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” This scripture captures the heart of Roar Men Roar. True strength is not measured by physical power, status or influence, but by a man’s faith, character and relationship with God. Just as a lion represents courage, confidence and strength, men are called to stand boldly in righteousness, even when faced with life’s challenges. Being bold does not mean being without fear or claiming to be perfect; it means trusting God, standing firm in our convictions and having the courage to do what is right. At Roar Men Roar, we encourage men to discover their God-given purpose, grow in faith and live with the confidence that comes from knowing who they are in Christ.
