My Heart Broke, My Faith Grew

Over the years, I have experienced profound loss—the passing of my father, my brother, my grandmother, and my wife. Each loss left its mark, and for a long time I relied on my own resilience to keep going. But I came to realise that self-resilience can only carry you so far.

When I lost my wife, everything changed. I had to be strong for my children. I had to hold things together. On the outside, it looked like I was coping, but inside, I was broken.

That season taught me something deeper: it was no longer a time to rely on my own strength, but a time to lean completely on God. In my mourning, I turned fully to Him. My faith began to grow in a way I had never experienced before. My purpose became clearer, and I found strength that could only come from God.

I remained committed to attending every service, every prayer meeting, every major church gathering, waiting on Him, trusting Him. And in His faithfulness, He restored us. My children began to heal, and so did I.

Today, I can say that my life is back on track—personally and spiritually. God has been good.
